2026 “NO SCOPE” OPEN TOURNAMENT – LAKE CLAIBORNE

Cast your line and join us for an exciting Open Fishing Tournament on beautiful Lake Claiborne sponsored by The Claiborne Parish Watershed District! Anglers of all skill levels are invited to compete for prizes, enjoy friendly competition, and spend a great day on the water. This tournament promises fun, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories. Get ready for a fantastic day on Lake Claiborne! Event will be held 9/12/2026 at Kel’s Cove on Lake Claiborne.

2026 “NO SCOPE” OPEN TOURNAMENT RULES

  • Rules for the 2026 season of Louisiana Team Trail will be the rules for this open tournament with some exemptions, which will be listed herein.  Click here for full 2026 Rules.
  • This will be a NO LIVE SONAR EVENT (no Garmin Livescope, Humminbird Live, Lowrance Active Target or any similar variation)
  • There will be no off-limits period.
  • The membership fee will be waved.
  • We will not have a cap on number of entries.
  • We will not do a blast off. Team numbers will be assigned as they come in.
  • We will ease off and begin fishing at 6:30 A.M. Teams must check in with the tournament director to get boat number and livewell checked at Kel’s Cove, beginning at 4:30 A.M.
  • All teams must be checked in by 3:00 P.M. Someone will be on the peninsula in front of Kel’s Cove checking boat numbers.
  • Entry Fee is $200.00 per team. You can fish solo if you choose to, but entry fee is still $200.00. 100% of fees will be paid back plus an additional $500 on top of first place. Big Bass of $500.00 will be paid by Louisiana Team Trail.
  • Entries must be paid by close of business on at the listed businesses or before midnight for online payments, Wednesday September 9, 2026. Payments can be made on-line through the shop at LouisianaTeamTrail.com. We will take in person payments at Hooked Up Marine, at D’Arbonne Marine, Michael’s Sporting Goods and Ty’s Tackle. If you pay in person, we will still ask that you complete the on-line registration below.
